Tea India Product Review

We Love Chai!

Whether it’s Netflix & Chai, catching up over a cuppa or just relaxing & Chai! The older we get, the more we appreciate the amazing comfort of Chai and it’s history within our culture. We’re also loving that a lot of people are getting into the power of Chai and delicious spice blends, making experimenting with new infusions easier within a busy lifestyle. Don’t get us wrong, we love the smell of authentic Indian tea being brewed in the kitchen, but it’s a great to have special tea blends with bags ready to bring the flavour and aromas at any time of day on the go.

Tea India

Enter Tea India, who specialise in delicious tea blends, including Chai and Ayurveda. Their master blenders Chirayu Boorah and Jimmy Jal Medhora were inspired by their motherland, India, to create a heavenly range of authentic tea blends.

Tea India offer a variety of flavours, aromas and blends, with Chai being at the heart of it all. Chai has been served in India for centuries and it really does give you a taste of India.

Tea can bring people together and here at British Bindi we’re all about bonding and chatting with our favourite drinks in tow, hence why we’re super excited and honoured about our partnership with Tea India UK.

A bit of chit chat & chai ❤

We can proudly say we’re one of Tea India’s ‘#Soulmates’ alongside many other fantastic people. One of the things we admire about Tea India is their ethical approach to sourcing their spices and their in-depth knowledge used to craft their Ayurvedic blends that are all about creating ‘soul healing tea’.

Our Tea India package

Being tea lovers, this is probably one of favourite packages of all time as bloggers, a package of Chai! We have really enjoyed tasting a great range of Tea India’s blends. You can check out their full range here: https://www.teaindia.co.uk/our-teas/
As the four of us British Bindi’s have different tastes, we thought we would share a review on each of our favourite tea:

British Bindi’s Tanisha – Cardamon Tea

Tea India Cardamom Chai blend

I love the exotic and aromatic black tea with cardamon tea! Every weekend it’s a tradition in my household where my mum and myself put on a brew of Indian tea in the morning. I even put in extra cardamon in the brew to intensify the flavour, that’s how much I love the taste.

Having the tea bags is so quick and easy for me during the week, I’ve been enjoying this tea after coming home from work, gives me the pick me up that I need. I’ve even introduced the tea bags to my mum and she loves them.

British Bindi’s Jasmeen – Masala Chai

Arguably the MVP of all Indian Chai’s is a good cup of Masala Chai. The blend of an array of spices gives me that warm feeling inside! I find Masala Chai versatile for any time of the day, whether it’s first thing in the morning, a little afternoon pick me up or something to help me wind down in the evenings. The taste and aroma reminds me of my childhood, growing up around my grandparents we had Masala Chai on a daily. So it’s lovely to be able to experience that same taste again, and of course reminisce!

British Bindi’s Kiran – Harmony & Balance Tea

Tea India Harmony & Balance blend

I’m a big herbal tea drinker – known as the tea connoisseur at my work place, my desk is full of staple green, peppermint, chamomile and matcha teas. Having a new tea product to try brings me the same joy as a new makeup product or something ha! (I know you’re probably thinking I don’t get out much).

I like the idea of tea and the aromas helping shape your mood and aiding a little self care session, so I was drawn to the Harmony and Balance tea. This tea uses Ayurvedic infusion of tulsi, fennel, cinnamon, ginger and is caffeine free, tulsi known as ‘The Queen of Herbs’ is believed to bring balance and resilience to life’s challenges. It smells delicious and tastes delicious too, I honestly feel so chilled out when drinking it, so tend to have this in the evening when I want to reset.

British Bindi’s Amani – Coconut Chai

Tea India Coconut Chai blend

As some of you might know, BB’s Amani lives in London, while the rest of us live in West Midlands, so she hasn’t had the chance to try the tea (the rest of us are trying not to finish it all off!). We’re thinking she’s going to love the coconut flavour, as she’s quite into her unique teas, so this would be right up her street. How cool is the idea of Coconut Chai?!  We’ll shortly be visiting Amani in London and will get her to try the creamy tea so look out for this update on our Instagram. In the meantime let us know if you’ve tried any of the teas, it’ll be great to hear your thoughts.

Overall, we genuinely love the tea and story behind it. It’s a brand that really respects the culture and authenticity behind Indian chai, which is super important to us as it’s such a growing trend in the supermarkets. Check out their story here, you can find out more about the blends, the power of Ayurveda, their charity work support girls through Action Indian and more!
